Tenku Autumn Leaves Festival - 2019
Ome, Tokyo Japan
The lower temperatures also mean even lovelier autumn hues!
Tenku Autumn Leaves Festival takes place on the 929-meter-high Mt. Mitake, where autumn arrives earlier than in the flatter central Tokyo. The lower temperatures also mean even lovelier autumn hues, which tint the streams and waterfalls, and entertain hikers following the various trails. Tenku—“heavenly skies”—themed events include a violin concert, geisha night, and ninja house. The summit area is easily accessible by cable car.
