The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is a flower show located in the World Heritage Site of Carlton Gardens, and the Royal Exhibition Building.

Beginning in 1995 the event has been annually held in Melbourne, Australia, and has grown in reputation to be the largest annual flower event and garden show in the Southern Hemisphere! Visitors can expect to see the creativity and passion of Australia’s top floral and landscape designers through their stunning displays, as well as have access to great food and entertainment. This event is open to all ages and is family-friendly.

You can pick a bunch of tulips on Union Square San Francisco. The tulip picking garden opens at 1 pm and will be open until 4.30 pm. Each person can pick their own bouquet of 10 beautiful tulips.

The parade floats will be decorated in the hall van DeLeeuw Flowerbulbs in Sassenheim from Wednesday, up to and including Friday.

On Friday evening the illuminated Flower Parade will travel through Noordwijkerhout.

The Tulip Field
You can began picking your tulips mid/end of February and you can pick all the way through end of March/early April, but it all depends on the weather.

In total, you have about 90 varieties of tulips to choose from (early, mid, and late-flowering varieties). The availability of varieties changes throughout the picking season.

Here’s how it works:

- Take a picking basket, which is available on the field.
- Pick the tulips you want to buy and create your own wonderful bunch of tulips!
- Bring us your tulips—we will wrap the tulips for you beautiful flower paper and put a special gel on the stems to preserve your tulips until you can get them home.
- Take your tulips home or enjoy the rest of your day—the gel will preserve them all day long!

Many bulb growers from the north of North Holland come and show their beautiful flowers at the Spring Garden event. There was a large variety of tulips, lilies, daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, callas and other special bulbs on show.

Fairy tales
Over the past years, the Spring Garden event in Breezand has evolved into a professional event. The fragrant flowers were used in floral arrangements and placed among the tales of Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood. The combination of fairy tales and spring flowers was definitely enchanting!

The formal gardens have undergone several changes over the centuries with most Duchesses leaving their mark from Elizabeth the 5th Duchess who commissioned the Rev Sir John Thoroton to terrace this area in 1815 to Violet the 8th Duchess who commissioned Harold Peto to redesign the gardens as we know and love them today.

Every year, Yanbu adds a little spring to its land by creating the largest flower carpet in the world at the Events Garden at Yanbu Industrial City. It is 10712.75 square meters big and has been organized by Royal Commission of Landscaping and Irrigation Department in the city.
